I am a 38yr.old -single mother and I have made mistakes in my past...The Biggest mistake was my ex-boyfriend. I "thought" I loved him so much I'd do anything for him.Well, I LET Him "CON" me into taking his charge for him when we got pulled over one night...Big MISTAKE! Not knowing what I was in for I did it...THINKING I REALLY WON HIS HEART...ha!
When I found out what I was charged with...I freaked out! I was a control substance,and to make a long story short....I went to Prison,He Didnt,and I never heard from him,again! Didnt hire me a lawyer,send me money,or bond me out!!!!
Therefore I lost everything,my kids ,my family's respect,and mine as well.So I get out and try to stay focused ( 5 years later)and I havd a baby at 36 and the father of my baby was killed shorly after I had her in a drive by.
So I find myself needing help,come to find out in the state of TEXAS ,If your a DRUG OFFENDER you KNOW LONGER CAN GET FOOD STAMPS after 1997.\
So It left us hungry,alone,and just about homeless.Now I am with my Mother,THANK GOD! but Not doing so well.
IM SCARED! I have no future for myself,I cant seem to Find a job,and nOONE WILL GIVE ME A CHANCE! I really messed it up all behind one man...now I am not letting anyone NEAR my Heart because I nd up ALone.always!
My daughter is my JOY....I have to provid efor HER.I REALLY NEED HELP IN SOME RESOURSES in Finding a Job.I have tried,TONS AND TONS of Jobs here in Dallas,Tx.where I live.NO LUCK!!!!!
Is there ANYONE out there who can point me in the RIGHT PAth to Finding a job!!!!
I just am about to give up and I CAN'T BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER is DEPENDING on mE!
